I have been playing drums professionally for 18 years. Freelancing in jazz and rock bands, wedding and resort bands, and theater "pit" bands, is how I have filled up these 6570 days. I have performed in clubs, music halls, radio stations and open-air venues all over the U.S, Canada and Europe. From 1995-1998 I was a member of two successful original bands (which also played "covers" so we could make some money!). In this 2½ year period I have played over 500 shows. I have had the opportunity to share the stage with some of today’s top modern rock acts including Fuel, The Flys, and Second Coming. In mid-1998 I attended "The Drummers Collective" in NYC, one of the top drum instruction schools in the country. In the summer of 2000 I was hired to perform in Germany with a well known rock artist named Doro Pesch.  In the summer of 2004 I toured Japan with a great bunch of musicians called "The House Lights."  Presently, I am accepting students for private lessons and I am subbing with a variety of regional rock bands, wedding/corporate acts, and street musicians (I don't do windows though!) My philosophy to being a professional musician is... 1. Learn the songs well as to not waste the other musicians' time. 2. Be respectful of the people you're performing with - especially the band leader. 3. Be open to suggestions. 4. Always have a dry shirt! Bands I've played with over the past 10 or so years are ...
